NORTHSIDE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH HISTORY
From a small group of parishioners who met in a farm house in 1959 grew a thriving church with ministries that touched, and continue to touch, its community and its world. God has supplied all we have needed through the years to allow us to do good works for Him. His Spirit has been evident in each step along the way. The road was paved with no little sacrifice. A charter membership of 72 in 1959 opened the doors to the community, and by the year 2000 grew to include over 1,000 members. A building fund of $7.94 multiplied time and time again to yield the facilities we enjoy today.
We look back on the road we've traveled with gratitude to those who laid the stepping stones that transformed the vision into reality. Clearly, our history is rich with God's blessings.

"Our fathers trusted in You. . . They trusted in You, and were not ashamed." - Psalm 22: 4-5
