Ann Sage, Parent's Day Out Director

Ann is the Director of the Northside Parents Day Out Ministry at Northside. Ann was born and raised in southern Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University, where she earned a B.S. in Human Ecology. Her field of study was Child Development with a focus on 3- 5 year olds. After graduation she spent time working in a daycare facility with 3 year olds. A move to Pennsylvania led her to the private sector where she became a Nanny. While living in Lancaster, PA she was also fortunate to have spent two great summers as a Day Camp Director for the Manheim Township Parks and Rec. Dept. Ann moved to Jackson, TN in1992 and has made it her home since. Her move here, once again led her to spend 3 more years as a Nanny in the private sector.  She has spent the last13 years as the Program Director and as an Instructor at the ATA Martial Arts School she and her husband own. She is a third degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. She and her husband Mitch have 4 beautiful children, Beau, Skylar, Scarlett, and Sophia. Ann was delighted to join the staff at Northside in April of 2009. Her goal is to work with her staff to make the PDO program the best it can be at sharing God’s love, while providing quality care and developmental growth for every age. Personally, she loves college sports, especially football (Go Bucks!) Martial arts, a good book, Italian food and most things sweet (like ice cream!).
