NORTHSIDE UNITED METHODIST MINISTRIES
 |
Music Ministry
If God is prompting you to sing, play or participate in dramatic presentations, or if you are interested in helping on the technical end (sound, lighting, staging, etc.), please join us. God has placed something in you that no one else can bring to Northside's mix. We will not be complete without your contribution! Please contact one of our music ministry staff to find out more information:

Prayer Ministry
Prayer has always been a big
part of who Northside is,
because prayer is of vital
importance to every Christian.
Prayer is the way we connect
with God, but we must do more
than just connect. We must
praise, petition, and intercede
in the midst of our prayer.

The Stephen Ministry
Northside’s Stephen Ministry
equips lay people to provide
confidential, one-to-one
Christian care to individuals in
our congregation and community
who are experiencing
difficulties in their lives.
Stephen Ministry is a
confidential ministry: The
identity of those receiving care
and what takes place in each
caring relationship remains
private.

Drama Ministry
Northside has a
growing Drama ministry. From
Sunday morning vignettes to
full-fledged musicals that go on
tour. There are plenty of areas
in which to participate: as an
actor, costumer, set builder,
lighting or sound operator and
others. If you feel that God is
leading you in this direction,
contact Mitzi Mathenia.

Adults In Ministry
(AIM)
Senior Adult, Recycled Teenager, or many others...whatever they call us, we're still children of God. So, there's still plenty of God's work to do, for those of us that no longer work at the same job for 8 hours a day. Northside's Senior Adult ministry is a vibrant community of people of an older age that choose to live their lives as Jesus has directed...and there's a place in that group for you!

Jonathan's Hope
Jonathan’s Hope is Northside’s special needs ministry, created to serve individuals with special needs and their families. Our name is inspired by 2 Samuel 9, in which King David protected Jonathan’s son, who was “crippled in both feet.” Our mission is to provide opportunities for fellowship and worship to individuals with special needs and their families. Jonathan’s Hope is made up of three ministry areas: Jonathan's Kids, Teen Club, and Buddies.
